Everybody's Got the Virus!!

It was another Hot, rainy, long summer week in South Florida.

We had some bomb lessons.  We meet some people from different places on Facebook and had some photoshoots!

Many of you know South Florida has a lot of the Covid-19. This last week a lot of people I know got the virus. A couple members in our ward have it, even more missionaries have it. My dear friends in my last area all got it. It's been crazy. Don’t worry, we have been staying safe and doing all we need to do.

Facebook miracles! We have found a few people to teach on Facebook. I feel like a creep randomly messaging people and making cheesy posts in groups just to make people comment so I can message them. It's worked though. We found this super amazing lady from Costa Rica.  It has been super fun teaching her and her accent is super nice!! It has been hard because her needs are different than most, but we are helping her get through some trials in her life. We also talked to a Honduran in South Carolina and a guy in Colombia.

Thursday was Elder Caine’s’ birthday so we went to the Temple and took some photos and walked around. It was so beautiful. I loved it. We got some bomb photos. We drove by the Everglades and the outskirts and it is soooo beautiful. It is so green and so many trees.

I love you all and keep staying strong.

Super Short!!

Hello Everyone!

This past week has been fantastic because we did not run into the Corona Virus!  We had an emergency meeting one night at 10:00 on a Zoom that we had to go to the church for.  We were informed that two Sister missionaries had tested positive for the virus – phew…I was sweating that meeting as I anticipated and thought the worst as we were driving to the church at 10:00 at night. I thought maybe there was a hurricane coming. So, when I heard the news was two missionaries have the virus, I was relieved. But those Sisters are doing good.

We have a friend on date for August 1st.  She is amazing and loves to talk. We have long lessons with her. She is great though. I love listening to her.

Nothing really happens anymore. We just call people and stay inside. Hopefully something more interesting happens soon but we will just continue to grind and do the work.

Love,
Elder Isom
