Ahí Vamos!

It's been an amazing couple of weeks. The work has been so good and I'm loving life.  

 

Yesterday we had the baptism of Margarita. It was a hectic baptism with everything but we did it and it was cute. I got to baptism her which was cool. We didn't get any real good photos which stinks but we got some. Shes a cute Guatemalan girl and her dad is a member.  

 

We have also been teaching this other guy who is dating a member and hes sweet. He invited him to be baptized and he was super down and loves the church. He is getting baptized this next week. He is one of the coolest guys I have taught. Hes 25 and actually later tonight we are going to teach him at the church then go and get dinner with him.  

 

This area is just so amazing! I'm so glad to be here. I hope to finish these next 3 months here in this area. The members are amazing and this one family who are recent converts made is some hamburgers that were literally the best I have ever had in my life with some pico de gallo! It was so rico! We also have been out on the streets and we had a guy try to bible bash us but it just turned in to a nice conversation because he saw we weren't week but he was a nice but weird guy. It kinda made me miss getting bashed. Anyway, have a good week y’all.

Spring Time Is Coming!!!

A new transfer has started and it was a great week to start it off! We are seeing a lot of people progressing and it is so fun this area. We have some new people in the zone and also I saw a bunch of old friends this week!

 

Church was amazing yesterday. We had a few people we are teaching come and the talks were amazing. We had four people who came with their member friends and so that is good they already have that support. We also set a young girl on date for the end of this month. 

 

 

We had a meeting this Friday at President Pingree’s house in his back patio with a bunch of missionaries. It was so fun to see a bunch of missionaries who I have served with before and talk to them. We also have a new Elder in the house and he is from CUBA. It's so cool. He came to the states when he was 13 and so his Spanish is what he prefers speaking and it is so fun to speak with him hearing his accent. He’s a great missionary and I'm excited to see him grow. 

 

 

Everything is great here and I'm loving it! Life just keeps on going. The weather is starting to heat up which is sad because winters here are so amazing. Just 70 degree weather all the time.

End Of Another Transfer

This was the last week of the transfer and yesterday we had transfer calls. I now only have 3 transfers left. Good news is that I'm staying with Elder Fricke another transfer. I'm super excited to stay with him. We have had a lot of success and I'm loving life. 

 

We had the baptism of Lucy Saturday. It was a really simple sweet program. She is the wife of a returning member. They are both super cool and will thrive together in the gospel. The other lady we baptized this transfer Ana is doing really well and is in New Mexico for a month or so and so we do video calls and she almost done reading Mosiah in the Book of Mormon and she sounds like a relief society president and wants to share the gospel with everyone. 

 

 

We did a car wash as a zone this Saturday. I spent most of the time in the street just trying to get people to turn in. It was kinda fun. Everything else is going great and life’s all good. Have a good week everyone!
