It was another super fast great week in Miami! Elder Norat and I went on 3 more exchanges this week. We had a ward activity and some little miracles like always.
The week goes by so fast when you have so many exchanges. I went to the creole elders area and that was fun. That is such a weird language, Haitian creole, but it was fun. I couldn't understand a single word. My other exchanges went really well and I got to get to know some elders in the zone better and learn from them and also help them out.
Friday we had a ward activity. We had a family history class to start then after we had a BBQ and my companion made some ribs with the help of our ward mission leader. It was a very good activity. We had a few investigators there. One big miracle was a week ago I found on exchanges this lady who just moved here from Ecuador and she was a member. We didn't get her number because she didn't know it but Wednesday I went by and she wasn't home so I left a note inviting her to the activity. Friday comes and she and her husband who's not a member show up with their 1 year old son. The husband loved the activity and even told our ward mission leader he wasn't a member "yet". He really loved it and the ward was great with them and the Bishop was asking if they needed help or anything like that. That was the coolest thing about this last week. They are a cool couple in their young 20s.
My mission President Pingree and his wife actually came and spoke at our ward on Sunday! It was cool to see them. President Pingree spoke with his accent from Spain and even Sister Pingree shared her testimony in Spanish and that was so cute. They are amazing.
Well that was my week! I love you all and hope you have a good week♥️
