The End!!! I'm Coming Home
Well... this is it! I return home on Thursday. I can't believe my time as a full time missionary is over. It's been an amazing experience!
I absolutely love the people here in Miami. I have meet some amazing people. I am going to miss them so much. I have absolutely loved my mission. This email is going to be short just like my time left.
I can't wait to see you all soon and will miss all the people here in Florida. I have had the best mission ever. My home coming will be this Sunday the 18th at 10:30 am. I love you all and I'm so grateful for all I have learned here on the mission.

The Last 4th Of July
Hi everyone! Well I have 10 days left until I'm home!!! That is a crazy thought. I am excited to see you all again. I am just so thankful for the mission and I will forever be in debt for everything I have learned and experienced. I am going to miss Miami so much!
This week we did some service giving out food. It was super cool! We had the whole zone. There were also some members from our ward who came and helped so it was cool to see a ton of people out serving the community.
For the fourth we had 3 meal appointments. They were all so fun. The last one at night was with our Bishop and he lives downtown and on the 23rd floor so you can see across the whole area. You could see a bunch of fireworks in the distance which was cool.
Today we had a zone wide activity! We had a barbeque and it was a blast. We bought a ton of food and had some fun games like water balloon volleyball. We have also been doing a district vs district competition with working with members and the winning district threw pies in our faces and of the STLS. The STLs got normal whip cream pie but for ours underneath the whip cream was chili sauce and sardines. It was so gross. I threw away my shirt. I thought it was so funny. It was a fun pday.
Next week will be my last email then I will see you all soon.

Time Is Flying By Too Fast
Time is winding down here in Florida but there is still so much to do! This week was basically a blur! We had some stuff happen. A lot of good and some bad but I'm just thriving!
We had 4 exchanges this week so I hardly had time with my companion Elder Lishman. One of the times I went with the assistants to Plantation. We picked up dinner from a member who lives right by the temple so we put the tailgate down and had a cool dinner with a great view of the temple. All the exchanges were good!
Friday we went over by the collapsed building on Miami Beach and did some service to help. It was super sad what happened over there. We were about a block from the building and just helped move food from one place to the town hall. It was a very sad place but it was also great to see so many people coming together, especially from different cultures and faiths. I love this place and the people and I am going to miss the amazing people here.
That was basically my week. We of course had a ton of lessons and are helping a few people get ready for baptism which is amazing. I love y'all and have a good fourth of July and I'll see you in 2 weeks.

#Manodedios
Oh my goodness this has been a fantastic week here in the amazing Pequena Habana! We have just been bold and grinded and have seen some fruits. I am so excited for this area and what is going to happen the rest of this transfer.
This Tuesday we as a zone were struggling with having people preparing to be baptized so we invited the whole zone to set someone on date this week and it has been a crazy miracle filled week. Elder Lishman and I were able to set 4 baptismal dates. They are all super good lessons and. The other elders in the ward set 3 more so we are super excited. There is just a lot more excitement here from when I got here.
We had an amazing zone conference this week. I prepared myself more than I have in the last few zone conferences and I could tell the difference. The revelation was super good! I was more humble and receptive to the things being said. I also bore my departing testimony! It was weird. Every zone conference the departing group all gives their testimony and I can't believe it was me up there!
Today for pday we went to calle ocho. It was super cool to check out all the cool Cuban stores and the other Latin places. I love Miami and the culture. Things are great right now and it's summer time so even more people will be home so this is going to be a good next month!
Love you all! Elder Isom
This is a 2 part email because last week I forgot to send it even though I wrote it all out. It was another amazing week. We had 2 exchanges and 2 ward activities. Things are just going so well in the ward right now. There is a lot of excitement.
I don't have a lot to say but I just want to say how happy I am and how excited I am for these next 3 weeks of my last transfer. There are a lot of amazing people and we are just working so hard with them. We have worked so hard visiting members and trying to find the elect friends and family members of them and it's paying off. We have some great member referrals. A mom and daughter came to church and she is a friend of a member and turns out her twin sister is also a member.
Time goes by so fast and the weeks and days are a blur. I don't have a bunch of crazy stuff to say just that everything is great! Love you all and see you soon

This Is A Great Work And " That Was Weird
It was an amazing week! The work here is so good! We are starting to see some fruits come to pass from the last transfer and the hard work we did. The grind just never stops you know.
My new companion is Elder Lishman. I lived with him for 5 months already so we know each other pretty well and we are just off to the races. He's from California and a stud of a missionary. He is going to do great things here in his time in Riverside.
Last transfer we started to work a ton with members and try to change this area. The work is paying off. We were able to set one person on date who is a part of the family. They are so cool. Just last night we had an amazing lesson with a member who invited her friend over and it turns out her friend is the twin of this other member in the ward!!! It was such a good lesson and we are going to watch the restoration movie tomorrow night and have a little movie night. It is an exciting time and I am so happy.
This last week at transfers I said goodbye to a ton of my friends! 4 of my old companions went home. It was sad to see them because we have been here the whole time together basically especially my trainer/dad. I also saw some good friends like Elder Porter Albertson on Wednesday and Friday for another meeting at president home on Friday. I love the friendships I have here with other missionaries and people who I have met.
Life is good and I hope y'all take care

Last Transfer
Well this is transfer week so that is always exciting. My companion is going home. I am going to miss Elder Norat. He was a great missionary! My new companion will be Elder Lishman and I am so excited. I lived with him for 5 months at the end of 2020 in Fontainebleau. It will be a great transfer.
We had another ward activity for missionary work. Us missionaries taught the plan of salvation then our ward mission leader did a BBQ. There were 13 non members there out of the 45 or so people. That was awesome. It was a great night. I love ward activities. They are one of the best ways to do missionary work.
I am really grateful for the mission. I'm so glad I am still here and that I can finish this amazing journey. I thank God every day for letting me, this small town apple farmer boy, help in this great work. I love you all so much and hope you have a blessed week. God loves you all!
