Bautismo, Traslados, Y La Vida Loca!

This is transfer week and I have news but that will be for later. It was an amazing week. We had the baptism of Jose who is awesome. Life is just all good right now!

The baptism of Jose was great. He passed his interview this Monday. We meet with him almost every day this week to get him ready and to make him feel comfortable. Sunday was a great day. Everything went really well with the baptism. We did it right after the church services. Elder Rosas baptized him and I confirmed him. Yesterday we went by Jose's house and he is doing really good and absolutely loved the baptism and he is so happy. I am going to miss him a lot.

Oh, speaking of that I am getting transferred!!!!! I am going to Lauderhill which is like an hour north and right by Fort Lauderdale. I'm super excited. My new companion is from Logan, Utah and I think he spells his name like Fricke. I'm super excited.

Today for P-day we went mountain biking again. Elder Rosas really likes the outdoors and I do too, so that's a lot of fun. I'm going to miss Miami a lot and all the people. This place has been amazing. I might be going to my last area so we will see how it goes!

Lots of love,

Elder Isom

"She Dumb Elect Elder"

Hey everyone, it's been a crazy 2 weeks since I last updated you all. A lot has happened and is been so good. I am settling down into my new area and I am just grinding!

So, I need to tell you all about Ana Paulina! She is soooooo amazing, the most elect person ever. So, she is here for business and vacation and is staying with some member friends she was. They have been taking her to church for the last couple weeks. The other elders in the ward had a baptism of some kids and she came and loved it and after she put herself on date for the 27 and we had only taught her 1 lesson and it was the restoration and she already wanted to get baptized. But it does end there. This last Wednesday Ana talked with the Bishop and then Bishop called us in and said that Ana wants to get baptized this Saturday and asked us if that's alright. We of course said yes. So, Thursday we had to go by and teach her literally everything and the baptismal questions because Friday would be the interview and Saturday the baptism. Friday she had her interview and after we told her she passed she started to cry and was so excited.

Saturday night we had a super amazing baptism. Ana asked me to baptize her so that was sweet and you could just feel the spirit she had. Ana was so happy. She is the most insanely elect person. As we taught the commandments she already kept the word of wisdom and she even would take out 10 percent of her money for reasons she didn’t totally know but she just did. So cool. Anyway, that is Ana Paulina!

Today we went to a country club with a member and Elder Fricke played tennis with him and I shot some hoops right next to the court. Everything is just super good. The area is amazing and the ward is amazing. Between us and the other elders in the ward there is going to be 7 straight weeks with a baptism. That is sweet.

Have y’all have a good week and see you in 5 months!!
